Samantha spends a considerable amount of time at the gym these days. The actress has been sweating it out, and news is that during one of her recent strength training sessions, she managed to lift 100 kilos. "I've been training her for the past three months. Samantha regularly hits the gym in Hyderabad and works out for an hour. She is very passionate about it and she feels guilty if she misses her gym routine even for a day," says her trainer, Kunal Gir.
And what about this 100 kilos she is supposed to have lifted? "It is called dead lift, and is a part of her strength and power training exercises. Usually, she'd lift of 20-40 kilos. But after building up the necessary power for all these months, she attempted lifting 100 kilos. It is not an everyday part of her regimen, but doing it once in a while will enhance her core strength and power, and help in muscle building," he explains, while cautioning, "But lifting 100 kilos is not a cakewalk and one should not try it without proper guidance."
